Economic and social inclusion of persons with disabilities and refugees in Côte d'Ivoire In Côte d'Ivoire, agriculture remains one of the few sectors capable of creating large numbers of jobs while structuring rural areas. However, persons with disabilities and refugees remain largely invisible in this sector, despite their productive potential and their desire for economic integration. It is in this context that the Mastercard Foundation, with technical support from ITAD, conducted a national situational analysis, to which CRIHD contributed as a research organization and implementation partner. The study was carried out in the five major regions of the country—North, South, East, West, and Central—in order to capture the diversity of agricultural, social, and institutional contexts.
